R. J. Brunner and Company
Located in Silver Spring, Pennsylvania, this shop has been responsible for the restoration of many old Pennsylvania-German organs as well as provided fine new or rebuilt instruments. This shop was responsible for the restoration of the 1776 Tannenberg organ in Nazareth, the 1804 Tannenberg organ in York as well as instruments by Dieffenbach, Krauss and others.
The Moravian Historical Society
One of the oldest historical societies in Pennsylvania, the Moravian Historical Society was established in 1857 to preserve the history of the Moravian Church. They are located in Nazareth and are housed in the historic Whitefield House where the 1776 Tannenberg organ resides.
The Historical Society of Berks County
Established in 1869 to collect and preserve as well as foster an appreciation for the history of Berks County. The 1800 Jacob and Christian Dieffenbach resides in the museum.
Old Salem
The official website for Old Salem, the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts (MESDA) and The Old Salem Children's Museum, all located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The 1800 Tannenberg organ is on display in the Visitor's Center at Old Salem.
The Organ Historical Society
An international organization that promotes a widespread musical and historical interest in American organ building. They seek members of all levels of interest in the organ. They also have an extensive catalog of compact discs, books and videos on their site about the organ.
Patrick J. Murphy & Associates, Inc.
Located in Stowe, Pennsylvania, this shop has restored many old organs as well as provided fine new or rebuilt instruments. This shop was responsible for the restoration of the 1791 Tannenberg organ in Spring City.
The Pennsylvania-German Society
A non profit, educational organization devoted to the study of the Pennsylvania-German people and their 300 year history in America.
Taylor and Boody Organbuilders
Located in Staunton, Virginia, this shop has been responsible for the restoration of the 1802 Tannenberg in Madison, VA as well as the 1800 Tannenberg in Old Salem. Now engaged in the restoration of the 1798 Tannenberg in the Saal at Old Salem. Visit their site to see many photos of the restoration of these Tannenberg organs as well as their many new instruments.
The York County Heritage Trust
The York County Heritage Trust (YCHT) was founded in 1999 after a merger of the Historical Society of York County (HSYC) and the Agricultural and Industrial Museum of York County (AIM). Located in downtown York, PA, The YCHT is made up of museums, historic sites and many historical collections. The 1804 Tannenberg organ is located in the entrance foyer.
